BRAINWAVE 🧠🌊 FEB 2026

Dylan Kelly is a world champion bodysurfer and in 2024 Australia's best, coming in at #4 in the IBSA World Championship. Earlier this year, Dylan’s life changed in an instant with the diagnosis of a brain tumour. After major surgery, he’s now focused on recovery, supported by his wife Nina and their boys, Yves and Benoit.

The treatment offering hope — Vorasidenib — is not covered by the PBS and costs $27,000 per month.

This day and evening is about easing that burden and showing the strength of community.

9AM - 3PM SATURDAY 21 FEBRUARY - AVALON BEACH (IN FRONT OF SLSC)

🎉 BRAINWAVE DAYTIME BODYSURF EVENT

Join us for a day of expression sessions (no scoring), team relays (sign up solo and form a team on the day), beach fin relay (fast, fun, spectator-friendly chaos) and a world record attempt of the most bodysurfers riding the same wave!

$50 Donation entry. All sale proceeds will go directly to Dylan and his family.
Open to all abilities. Bring your bodysurfing buddies and be part of something special!

Evening ticket prices:
• $79 – Adults
• $25 – Children (10 and under)

Family-friendly, community-focused, and all for a great cause.

You can attend either or both — and tickets for all events are available via Humanitix.

Raffle Draw - Open to everyone! You don't need to attend to win!
